Go out and buy one of the hairstyle magazines. It has been my experience that you need to switch stylists when you don't get what you need. Don't be afraid to switch...it's just business.

You should ALWAYS bring a picture to your stylist because everyone's ideas of how something should look are different. I couldn't find any pictures of hairstyles because I don't know how long your hair is and how short you want to cut the length. What I would do is go to the store and get a hairstyling magazine and look through it to find what you want. They usually show the styles from different angles so you can see the back. The pictures I found on the web only show the styles from the front. Usually when you describe short layers that are high on the back of your head, stylists think of a shag. The shag was popular years ago, and has come back into style now. There are many different ways you can do this. You can make it look funky and cool, or you can make it look more natural depending on what the client wants.

well.

it is possible to bleach your hair from black to white, but it would take 2 bleaching cycles (i used jerome russel and i've done it twice..) and then yeah, you could dye your hair hot pink (use special effects) and once you're done with that you could just dye it black again (note: this is harder than bleaching it, once your hair is blonde it doesn't want to go back and it'll fade for months until it decides to grab..)

but you can't dye your hair light pink without lightening it from black.. so i don't think you have any hope here unless you want to do what's listed above, and that seems ridiculous to me.

What I did was ask the person that works at the nearest Hottopic (lol) Suprisingly, they know alot. You can get the dye there and bleach for under $50.

My hair is light brown and it took 3 bleaching processes to get it blonde.. it has to be almost white for the pink color to stay...

So, go to a pro and ask for the treatment (cause your hair suffers a lot through this :P) and do it! by the way, you will have to paint it twice if you wanna keep it for a whole month....

The only other thing I can think of is blow drying it with a flat brush to make it straight. But straightening your hair doesn't have to be bad. Use a heat protective cream or spray before you straighten it. It also helps to only straighten dry hair...less breakage. Good luck!

The reason why they do this is to give you an idea of how that color will look against your current color. I use Clairol natural instincts. I love it, I never use the permanent color. Its bad for your hair. Anytime you use color in your hair it will dry it out a bit but the chemical that makes the color permanent is what does the most damage. I have found that perminant color fades out around the same time as the 28 wash dyes.

no, if your hair is really dark it won't lighten with just dye. go to a professional. chances are it will come out horrible if you use the boxes.

because the hair dye is meant to be used for someone who has light hair, and would be going darker with the dye. if you are lightening your hair, the only option is bleaching it. you can't undo bleaching, you can only dye over it.

it'll show if you straighten it, but it might look weird all the same, it has to slightly curve in...if you have those cylinderical (?) comb, then straighten you hair out and then use the comb to curve it in. hope that made sense.

NO!!! smelling pot or even being in a room with people smoking pot will not make it show up on a drug screen...how do i know? simple i have a degree in law enforcement and i handle the drug screening for my unit in the U.S. Marines. in order to get enough in your system just from being around pot smokers youwould have to be in an inclosed area that was so full of the smoke that you could barely breath any way...i.e. a car with 6 people in it and the windows rolled up and you are the only one with out a joint or pipe in your hand for about an hour.

see your doctor as you may have a hormonal imbalance, this can cause hair loss. it can look much more attractive to keep your hair cut short when this happens instead of trying to disguise it- good luck!!

My hair started thinning and receading in my mid twenties, well over ten years ago.

I persevered with thickening shampoos for a while but eventually went to the barbers and asked him to clip it all off to a number one. That itself was about four years ago and I should have done much sooner. It looks so much neater and as far as I'm concerned is much less obvious than having "normal" length hair with bald or receading areas because they contrast with the hair more making the bald bits easier to see.

Getting your hair chopped right down can be a bit of a bold move to make. You might wonder if such a drastic change will suit you and you will be stuck like that for some time. Don't worry on that account, you'll be surprised how quickly your hair does grow. I have to clip mine every four days or so to keep it as short as I now want it.

Getting your own clippers saves a lot of time and money too. They will pay for themselves in a month and getting your hair cut is now five minutes in the bathroom.

Use a girls hair brush and masarge your head gently for half an hour each day it stimilates hair growth and if that doesnt work for you then grow it shampoo it with horse shamppo sounds odd but it thickens hair greatly and apply some wax too cover up the bald patches.

Shave it of or just have it cut really short. Somtimes youve gota realise that u cant hold onto somthing you havnt got. Dont try wigs or combovers it just doesnt look attractive. I tell u what did look cool, i once saw brittians largest man on the TV, he had no hair what-so-ever, so he made this big sausage thing out of duct tape an wore it everyday (he even hairsprayed it). Altough he looked a bit of an idiot, he got loads of attention for it and knowbody really said anything or do a david guest and colour in the bald patches with show polish......worth a go ay?! ugh i don't think theres a site. Do you want to know how to do the style, or just pictures. If you want pictures just go to myspace, they have some groups with a lot of "scene people' (never understood the term actually). So just look at one and then try their friends list or something. If you want to know how to get it... choppy layers, backcomb, extensions, try coloring it!
