In the officecomplex I work, I have come across such men as mentioned above. Being a lady I feel like stopping them and asking to button up their shirt.

Does anyone out there know the pyscology behind such action?

well I think it's sexy as hell, but not appropriate for an office setting. Doesn't your company have a dress code they have to abide by? I'd tell them to button up their shirts at work. At home however, I love it when my husband does this.

In all honesty when they left the house this morning maybe they actually thought that looked good. Maybe nobody has taken the time to tell them that it is inappropriate just like some of the women I see that wear too revealing clothes. Oh, if I could fix all the unfashionable people in the world. Sometimes when I leave the house in the morning I don't button it all the way up and then I forget to when I get to the office. Other times just to stay cool.

Girls don't get as hot because generally they have on half the clothes. I guess if I had on a cute short skirt and a little blouse then I wouldn't unbutton it :)

They think it's sexy, and they think we women think it's sexy, even though sometimes it's not. It depends on the guy. If they have a HUGE belly and lots of chest hair, it's pretty gross!

Im a guy and dont like the look of chest hair thank god i dont have any. But the guys i hang out with that have chest hair like their bodies and if they feel too hot why not open up your shirt to cool off.

The weather might be too hot and they unbuttoned their clothes, and when the weather cools down and the winds blow, they will feel cold.

Or some men felt that it is unsual to see men' chest hair and they wanted to ''showcase'' themselves? They might be like women... Women wear sexy clothes to showcase their "beauty" whereas men unbottoned to showcase their beer belly/muscle/chest hair.

i have noticed that that is mostly old guys who are in there mid 40s. They want to prove that they are still young and all, but really they are just disgusting and young girls run away from them.
