I dyed my sister's hair redish brown but it didn't show the color in her 'inside'

..instead the color only fulfilled the outside part of her hair? how do i dye the whole hair? inside%26amp;out?

divide into different layers

use aluminum foil to wrap around really small amount of hair

it should absorb

it took to the outside because one you started there..or two it was lighter there in color maybe highlights, or three is was dry and porous on top ...or four that was the healthy virgin hair therefore it took better...hair color should be applied first on the hairline..hair in four parts with clips starting at the nape apply in the back in one fourth sections...if this is first time her hair was dyed then a virgin app is one fourth from root to on fourth from ends...let that process and then put on roots and ends(reason this is the coldest part of hair shaft takes longest for it to process) if her hair has been dyed before you do roots and then pull it through entire head..she may need extra dye if she has thick hair

Maybe u didnt seperate the hair in sections n get all the hair from root 2 tip. Or... it may depend on what color her hair was prior 2 coloring b/c if its darker then what u applied it wont show - color doesnt remove color.

Hope that helps.
