Like is it okay if its not platinum, i just bleached it yesterday to a strawberry blonde(like gold with a reddish tinge, it's not orange definitely not auburn or brown) and i'm gonna put purple on that, i would have thought it's fine because it's dark purple dye i have, i've tested it out on locks i cut but i was able to bleach those for longer to get closer to platinum because there was no fear of killing hair not on my head, and i didn't leave it on as for the last few minutes it took on the tests for lighter shade, just to be safe, so now i'm wondering if the dark purple will look ok, If you could give me your opinion that would be cool
please don't tell me to go to a salon, for better or for worse, i'm from a long line of thrifty D.I.Y.-ers

Purple should show up great on your type of hair. The lighter your hair is before you put the purple in, the better.

If the purple is dark, then it will most likely show up well. I dyed my dirty blonde hair a sapphire blue and it showed up wonderfully, so I don't see why your color wouldn't.
