Drug testing hair?

I've been offered a great job, but I am concerned about the hair drug test I will have to take. I take Xanax, Lortab, and Oxycontin on a regular basis (all legally prescribed for medical conditions). About 9 months ago, like an idiot, I was with a friend and tried some meth...it was a one time thing, and it wan't very much. Will this show on the hair test?

I have had to do this for the last 9 yrs. Hair follicle usually tests for cocaine, marijuana, meth, opiates (like heroin) and pcp. They can go back as far as your hair is long, but usually just look at the last 90 days. If your meth use was 9 months ago and you want to be completely sure just cut your hair to desired length, depending on how fast it grows. They do not test for mushrooms, all prescriptions are OK as long as you have a doctors permission and the necessary documents. If you shave your head they will get a few pubic or armpit hairs. If you shave everything they will get a fingernail.

I think only magic mushrooms show in a hair test...for 6 months....not certian though.

From my understanding, whatever length your hair was at the time you tried meth, is where the detection of meth can be found. If you wear a buzz cut and keep your hair short, then I don't think you have anything to worry about. Good luck!

Everything can show on a hair test......depending on the length of your hair it can show years back.......you can easily explain the pain pills because of the doctors script...but unless you want to cut your hair really short or take a chance that they wont test for Meth, they will be able to tell that you did it.......

shrooms are not the only thing that show in a drug test with hair!!! everything shows and no dear the meth will not show up on the results.

yes it will, stupid stuff like that will show up for up to a year later along with the rest of your psycho drugs
