Hair problems!? HELP?

ok so im looking for a change. and i kinda want a different cut and color..i was thinking getting it cut to about shoulder length or a little longer with long layers or maybe a little shorter and a side bang. kind of like jessica simpson. and my color right now is like a medium brown i want something a little lighter but not too light. i need help find pictures to show to the hair dresser. please help!!!
