I went on Google to find some pics of the hair style i want to show the hair dresser

i want my bangs/fringe like this

Bring Hilary's pic to the hair stylist and tell them you want exactly,that. And they'll do it for you. And there you can ask them what its called.GL! hope your hair comes out the way you expected =D

show the person, but have them cut it longer than what you want, to BE SURE, then if it looks right, continue, but if its not, you can still work with your hair. Especially if the cosmetologist or barber says, " I know what you mean" when you first tell them... and keep a hand mirror CLOSE

take the picture of her hair in and show and explain to the hair dresser what you do and dont want. If you are unable to print a pic, draw it maybe. When i got my hair cut i just asked for a side fringe, and i got one like hils, so its up to you.

Well here they're known as a "fringe".

I reckon the first and second picture are nearly the same. But styled, cut differently.

Print (if you can) or find a similar picture to that (Hilary) and show your hairdresser. They're experienced and should know and understand where your coming from.

You may as well show them the other two, to show them what you don't want.

As the customer is always right.
